Luis llerena

Homeowner since 2019
I believe my leadership and governance experience would allow me to contribute meaningfully to the Board of Directors. Through my work with organizations such as CBT Technollogy Institute and other community initiatives in education and youth development, I have developed experience in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, budgeting oversight, and collaborative decision-making. I also have practical experience with property improvement projects, contractor coordination, and regulatory considerations, which are directly relevant to HOA governance. My goal as a Board member would be to support responsible governance, maintain property values, ensure fair and consistent application of community standards, and promote transparent communication with homeowners.

Steve Isakson

Homeowner since 1999
I have been a homeowner at Lakes of the Meadow for over 26 years. During that time I have enjoyed frequent walks through our streets and green areas and occasionally the amenities at Lake Park Center. Our kids grew up in this community and I have many fond memories of neighborly get-togethers, HOA events and other fun activities. I'm currently retired after having worked for more than 30 years at various levels in Miami-Dade county. I'm an FIU graduate and have acumulated decades of experience working with local business owners and authorities to make sure the various aspects of environmental regulations are met in accordance to best practices and established standards by local, state and federal guideliness. As a supervisor I was in charge of planning, assigning and reviewing work, provided continuous training in work methods and procedures and in the application of local, state, and federal rules. My position required coordination/contact with the various government agencies, consultants, the public, other regulatory agencies and RER/DERM staff. I look forward to serving our community by promoting community inclusion, communication, transparency and accountability to address the various challenges our communitty is facing in regards to the upkeep and maintenance of our common grounds while maintaining financial responsibility.
